The study was conducted to enlighten the researchers, the respondents, and the readers on the factors of training and development that affect the performance of the employees of two forwarding companies in Paranaque and Pasay city. Many employees are still lacking in knowledge about their work within the company. However, according to According to Shaw (2019). Well-trained employee will help to increase productivity and profits because when employee saw that the company are willing to invest in their improvements it will generally most likely to stay for a long run. Effective training saves labor by minimizing the time spent on resolving the organizational challenges and it also saves money by producing a better workforce.
