Subject(s): Summary: This study investigated the relationship between the level of exposure to select broadcast media programs and the degree of agreement on poverty among the residents of Camcam Barangay Canlalay, Binan, Laguna. The descriptive method of research was used in this study. It was found out that the respondents level of exposure to the select TV programs was higher than their level of exposure to the select radio programs. The select residents of Camcam, Barangay Canlalay, Binan, Laguna had a higher level of exposure to the select TV programs that portrayed poverty then radio programs. The respondents were generally subscribing more to TV than radio. Residents of Camcam, Barangay Canlalay, Binan, Laguna believed that a person is poor if he had no decent house and if he wasn't able to go to the hospital for proper medication. The respondents' degree of agreement to the indicators of poverty was significantly influenced by broadcast media programs in terms of TV programs. However, the select radio programs seemed to not affect their degree of agreement.
