Filipino values as traces of the gospel in Filipino culture : towards a contexual model in theology / Guillermo F. Juan Jr.

This article provides a brief description of the context of the meaning of culture, its nature, and functions; arguing its intrinsic realtion with religion, asserting the correlation between religion and culture to human life. The author tries to understand the Gospel within the Trinitatian structure of the Christian dogma, explaining Grace; substance of the Gospel from the vantage point of the economic Trinity. The author provides a brief expository of some Filipino core beliefs and values; correlating several theses culled from the understanding of Grace with some core Filipino values.
