This paper describes the differences in the levels of enjoyment of physical education (PE) activities between block-scheduled and free-scheduled students in an academic institution. It also compared enjoyment of physical education subjects between male block-scheduled and male fre-scheduled students as well as between female block-scheduled and female free-scheduled students. This paper was based on the results of study with 336 college students who answered a physical activity enjoyment scale (Kendzierski & DeCarlo, 1991). T-test and two-factor ANOVA were used to analyze the survey data. Results showed that free-scheduled students significantly experience more enjoyment of their physical education activities compared to block-scheduled students. No significant interaction effects in levels of enjoyment were noted between types of students and sex.
