Ethico spiritual caring has not gained specific attention in nursing. This study aims to synthesize qualitative literature that explicates the direct connectedness between ethical care and spiritual care in nursing. The researcher analyzed the areas not much explored or gaps in the literature. The researcher utilized Polit and Beck (2013) framework of methasyntheses and Noblit and Hare's method of qualitative data analysis. The methasyntheses of six eligible qualitative research studies resulted to three key themes/methapors of ethico-spritual concerns , which are (1) interpersonal expression, (2) professional vocation, and (3) transcendent connection. The result of this methasyntheses generally reciprocates their discussion on ethico-spirtual caring in nursing. However three studies explicated major refutation and gap as they pose when how and what is the best way of gaining competence on ethico-spritualvcaring. In its sense, student nurses and professional nurses must constantly render full and observable commitment in incorporating the ethico-spritual dimension of care while respecting healthy cultural beliefs and practices of those cared for.
