The article was reported by many media outlets in stories with titles ranging from "Can Common Heartburn Drugs Raise Risk for Dementia?" and "Proton Pump Inhibitors Linked to Dementia" the former being a title that perhaps distorts the actual study findings misleading the reader to believe that a clear link exists between PPIs and dementia ER -
