Creative Commons is a global nonprofit organization that enables sharing and reuse of creativity and knowledge through the provision of free legal tools. CC offers other legal and technical tools that also facilitate sharing and discovery of creative works.

The Met presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world. 

Ziteboard
The site is a zoomable online whiteboard with real-time collaboration for tutoring, explaining, sketching and teaching.

The George Eastman Museum of Photography and Film

US Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Online Catalog

Historic American Sheet Music
The David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Duke University holds a significant collection of 19th and early 20th century American sheet music. The Historic American Sheet Music Project provides access to digital images of 3042 pieces from the collection, published in the United States between 1850 and 1920.

National Archives and Records Administration
The National Archives was established in 1934, but its major holdings date back to 1775. UCLA Film and Television Archive

US Library of Congress Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division
The Motion Picture, Broadcasting and Recorded Sound Division of the Library of Congress (M/B/RS) oversees one of the largest collections of motion pictures in the world. The Library has been actively collecting motion pictures since 1942, though thanks to the ingenuity of Thomas Edison and other early film producers, beginning in 1894 thousands of films were deposited at the Library as still photographs.
